Friday, November 1st:
Meet and greet
We will start with a meet and greet at Bird Boy Brewing Company's Tap Room, with six taps and a beer engine pumping out the area's best cask ale.
Following, you may stop in at your choice of Roanoke's several restaurants or follow us to Joseph Decuis for a wide range of Wagyu choices at Blue Jeans and Burgers.
Saturday, November 2nd
Kick off the event with a farm tour and hayride at 1, 2 or 3 pm.
At 4:30 pm, the winners of the Steak Challenge will be announced with steaks and other items auctioned off to benefit the National Junior Wagyu Association. The Purdue team will be present to explain individual scoring and answer any questions.
At 6:30 pm, the ticketed Gala (A Taste of Wagyu) begins. Professional chefs will be available on-site to cook a delicious assortment of wagyu cuts for your enjoyment. If you bid and win a ribeye you may have your wining ribeye cooked to order at the event.
